SPRINT SAMSUNG IP-830W CELL PHONE ReviewWhile it is a pretty big phone I really don't mind it much because it has so much functionality and I am able to comfortably surf the web and check my web mail and send text messages. The world clock is kinda useless, it doesn't have too many cities listed and I typically don't have it on display. As this has a Microsoft operating system be prepared to reboot about 2x a week on average. Also the VoiceSignal program is really terrible, it never gets my voice command right and is totally useless. Other than that, the sliding keyboard is great and while it's hard to use it with one hand after a while I was able to train myself to do so. The PDF viewer is amazing, very cool application. The battery life is not that great, and the extended battery practically doubles the weight of the phone, so keep a charger with you where you go - of course it was impossible to find a spare charger for this phone and I searched high and low before I found a car charger that was compatible. DesignThe 830W follows the standard form factor of the latest Pocket PC devices, with one major addition: a sliding QWERTY keyboard is hidden below the screen. A generous, 240 x 320 full-color touch-screen display dominates the face of the unit. Just below the display is a five-way selection button that allows you to navigate and control the Windows Mobile interface.
